God
God pointed to two animals: Behemoth and Leviathan. God questioned how Job could stand against him if he couldn't stand against these two animals God had created.
This is a reminder of a spiritual war that is being battled. It appears again in Revelation.
Job
From Knowledge to Knowing - Job 42:1-3 Job had known of God, but now Job knew God because God revealed Himself to Job.
From Hearing to Seeing - Job 42:4-6 "My ears have heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore, I despise myself and repent.
To an end to himself - We must come to an end to ourselves before we can be saved. Job had to surrender all to God. God wants us to trust Him.
Friends
Job 42-7 The Lord spoke to Eliphaz. He was angry with these friends because they didn't speak the truth of the Lord. Job repented, but they didn't.
Final Conclusions
Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30
