If you or someone you know has a prayer need, we have a prayer chain ready to pray on your behalf. Contact Steve & Linda Langsdorf 483-2342 or Larry & Delores Romick 483-1029. They will share your need with others to intercede on your behalf in prayer.
Women's Group
The Women's Group was founded in 1987 as a fundraising effort for the building of the parsonage. Since that time the women have continued to raise funds for building and other projects at the church.
In addition, the women give to local missions and those in need in the community. They also provide a casserole ministry, in which provide meals to the those in the church and community who have recently returned from the hospital or have suffered loss. Each November, they prepare Thanksgiving plates filled with sweets and fruit for senior citizens.
The women have become locally famous for the delicious pies and savory Easter candy. They donate pies to the Volunteer Fire Department for their fundraising events. They have also donated their desserts to other organizations in the community. Next time, they're baking, stop by for a taste!

Missionary Support
Mt. Olive also sponsors a missionary to Germany: Crystal Buegel, who is from Monroe County. She is serving to bring the Word of Christ to people once denied the freedom of hearing the gospel due to the communist government.
Local Missions
Mt. Olive supports many local missions, such as donations to families and individuals going through difficult times caused by sickness, death, accident or acts of nature. Support is given financially and spiritually.
